The Turbo Air TST-36SD-15-N6 Super Deluxe Sandwich/Salad Unit is a compact prep table with 11 cu. ft. of refrigerated reach-in cabinet space and a cold bunker with 15 ⅙-size pans. Although this prep table is compact, it is chocked full of features that make use of every bit of space.
The worktop features a removable ½” thick polyethylene cutting board that runs the full width of the prep table. This 9-½” deep cutting board provides plenty of space to work on salads or sandwiches. The cold bunker has an insulated pan cover to keep prepped ingredients as fresh as possible. Turbo Air’s forced-air system keeps everything below 41°F even with the lid open, this is made possible by the unique airflow that creates a cold air-shield around the pan.
Beneath the worktop, two insulated stainless steel doors keep the reach-in storage nice and cold. Each cabinet has its own stainless steel shelf to keep everything organized. LED interior lighting makes everything easy to see in the reach-in cabinets and has the added benefits of being bright, and cool, having an extended service life.
A ⅕ HP compressor provides plenty of cooling and uses R-600a hydrocarbon refrigerant. This refrigerant is eco-friendly with a minimal effect on climate change and does not damage the ozone layer. Turbo Air’s self-cleaning condenser makes sure this prep table’s refrigeration system is always running as efficiently as possible without the need for regular manual cleaning. Their patented design uses a spinning brush that sweeps any dust away from the condenser unit to keep it free-flowing.
This prep table only draws 2.9 amps of 115v/60/1-ph power allowing it to be plugged in almost any power outlet and it comes with a 9-foot power cable for convenience. 4” casters are included to make moving this prep table around very simple.
