The SPE27HC-12M-B Elite Series™ Mega Top Refrigerated Counter from Beverage Air is a convenient unit that provides refrigerated storage for sandwich ingredients in a dozen 4” deep ⅙ pans and a reach-in section with 6.91 cu. ft. of space. This unit is great as a one-stop solution for sandwich assembly and can be used in a semi-mobile role thanks to the included locking casters.
The reach-in section features a corrosion-resistant aluminum liner that is easy to clean and two epoxy-coated steel wire shelves for the organization of items. The door is self-closing, but for easy access to multiple items, it can be opened past 120º to stay open. This combines the convenience of accessing multiple items with both hands when necessary while automatically closing when used quickly to make sure the temperature of 36ºF to 38ºF is achieved as efficiently as possible.
The worktop of this refrigerated counter features a built-in cutting board that runs the full width of the unit providing plenty of space for sandwich prep. The twelve pans for ingredients and condiments are kept between 41ºF and 33ºF to keep everything as fresh as possible. This temperature is maintained with proper airflow to ensure shelf-life.
The unit is primarily constructed from stainless steel, which includes the top, front, sides, door, grill, lid, and hood while the back and bottom are made from durable and cost-effective galvanized steel. The refrigeration system at the base of the unit includes a ⅙ HP compressor unit that provides 1140 BTU/hr of cooling with environmentally-friendly R290 refrigerant. An Epoxy-coated evaporator coil makes sure the unit will provide efficient cooling for many years to come. The unit uses full electronic control and has an automatic non-electric defrost system for reduced downtime.
This unit uses standard 115v/60/1-ph power at 2.0 amps, an eight-foot power cable comes standard with an integrated NEMA 5-15P plug.
