Five Star Saniclean is a low-foaming, acid-anionic sanitizer specifically designed for use in CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems and brewery pumps. This bulk 5-gallon container is ideal for commercial breweries and wineries. Saniclean provides a powerful final rinse that kills bacteria and yeast while preventing the buildup of mineral stones. Its low-foam profile is critical for preventing pump cavitation and overflow in spray-ball and recirculation applications.
Commercial Usage Tip: Saniclean is used at a higher concentration than Star San. The standard dilution is 2 oz per 5 gallons of water (approx. 1:320 ratio). This solution is exceptionally stable and can be reused if the pH remains below 3.0. Always verify your concentration with a pH meter or test strips before use in a CIP cycle.
