Description

This 12″ x 17″ American MetalCraft Detroit style pan is made to be durable from the hard coat anodized 14 gauge aluminum.

Do to the hard coat finish and dark coloring, the pan heats up quickly and gets hotter than typical pans to promote rapid baking.

The dark color of the pan also aids in achieving a crispy crust. Since this pan is anodized it also will not react to acids in foods like pizza sauce.

This pan is not pre-seasoned, it will need to be, so that foods will not stick to the pan.

However, with proper seasoning between uses, they may take on non-stick properties over time.
