The Beverage Air SPED72HC-08-2 Elite Series™ Sandwich Top Refrigerated Counter is a prep table configured with two reach-in sections and two refrigerated drawers for convenient storage of larger items while eight 1/6 pans on the countertop provide easy access for effortless sandwich or salad prep work. The drawers and reach-in sections offer 20.0 cu. ft. of easy to access storage. The reach-in sections each have two epoxy-coated wire shelves to organize items and the drawers are designed to hold pans up to 6″ deep for added versatility.
A full-width polyethylene cutting board provides plenty of space to work on sandwiches or salads. The cutting board is secured to the counter but can be removed easily for maintenance or cleaning. The 8 pans are kept between 41°F and 33°F through optimized airflow in the refrigerated bunker. Since the refrigerated bunker does not take up all the counter space, there is plenty of room for additional condiments or ingredients that don’t need to be kept cold.
The reach-in refrigerator section below the worktop has 2 epoxy-coated wire shelves to maximize the usable space while making organizing items much simpler. The interior of the refrigerated section is made from durable and corrosion-resistant aluminum which is easy to clean. A self-closing door makes sure that a temperature between 36º and 38ºF is maintained as efficiently as possible. However, for convenience, the door can remain open when opened to 120˚.
The easy to access drawers have slides featuring a locking mechanism that prevents them from being completely pulled out accidentally. For effortless access to ingredients, stainless steel frames support the telescoping drawer slides. The temperature inside the drawers is constantly maintained between 36º and 38ºF to maximize the shelf life of stored food.
The self-contained refrigeration system at the bottom of this prep counter has an efficient ⅓ HP compressor with 1549 BTU/hr of cooling capacity. Cooling is efficiently provided with eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant that meets all environmental regulations. Automatic defrosting is provided with a non-electric system.
This unit is configured to use standard 115v/60/1-ph power and comes with an eight-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug set.
