Description
The Heavy-Duty Brass Gas Ball Valve is a critical safety component for CO2 and Nitrogen manifolds. It features a 1/4″ Male Pipe Thread (MPT) inlet and a high-friction 3/8″ hose barb outlet. This model includes an integrated one-way check valve, which prevents beer or soda from “backing up” into the regulator if gas pressure is lost. The smooth ball-valve action provides a positive shut-off, allowing you to isolate individual kegs for maintenance or line cleaning.
Safety Tip: A failed check valve is the #1 cause of damaged gas regulators. Test the valve periodically by ensuring no liquid can pass backward through the barb when the gas is disconnected. Use PTFE tape on the 1/4″ NPT threads to ensures a gas-tight seal to your manifold or regulator. Always secure the gas line with an Oetiker stepless clamp.
