The Crown Steam GCX-2-36 is a gas convection steamer engineered to keep busy kitchens moving. Two independently operated compartments on a sturdy 36-inch cabinet base help stage multiple batches and reduce bottlenecks on the line.
Each compartment holds three 12″ x 20″ pans, letting teams steam vegetables, proteins, and sides simultaneously or retherm prepared trays with consistent results. Electronic ignition and 60-minute timers per compartment keep cook cycles controlled and predictable.
Automatic blowdown, automatic water level control, a split water line, and the included water filter system support cleaner operation and reliable performance. Operators can track conditions via the pressure gauge and water gauge glass, while the CSD-1 code package and integrated safety controls add confidence in demanding service.
