The Lancer 22″ Valve Guard for IBD is a specialized protective housing designed to shield the dispensing heads from customer-side physical impact and environmental debris. It serves as an essential sanitary barrier, preventing splash-back and maintaining the professional, clean appearance required by health department standards.
Problem Solved: Corrects issues with damaged or loose dispensing valves caused by customer cup impacts. Replaces cracked guards that harbor bacteria or allow syrup to spray onto the customer service counter.
Symptoms of Failure: Visible cracks or stress fractures in the guard housing, loose or ‘wobbly’ dispensing heads, or finding that the valves are difficult to keep clean due to a damaged protective shell.
Technician’s Note: When installing the valve guard, ensure it is seated firmly in the dispenser frame tracks. If the guard is loose, it will vibrate during the agitation cycle, creating an annoying customer-facing rattle. Clean with mild soap only.Technical Specifications:
