The SHURflo® 183-130-SS is a high-performance, fixed-pressure water regulator designed to protect sensitive beverage equipment from high-pressure surges and city water fluctuations. Featuring a rugged 304 stainless steel body and integrated 3/8″ hose barbs, this inline valve automatically steps down incoming water pressure to a consistent 30 PSI. This is a critical safety component for espresso machines, ice makers, and soda carbonators that can be damaged by “water hammer” or excessive line pressure. Its non-adjustable, tamper-proof design ensures that your system stays within safe operating limits without the risk of accidental field adjustments.

Technician’s Note: This 30 PSI regulator is the “gold standard” for protecting small-diameter beverage lines. Most municipal water lines can spike to 80–100 PSI at night, which can burst vinyl tubing or cause solenoid valves to leak. When installing the 183-130-SS, ensure you follow the flow arrow on the body. We recommend using 15.7mm Oetiker Stepless Clamps on the 3/8″ barbs to maintain a leak-proof seal under constant pressure. Because it is stainless steel, it is also highly recommended for Reverse Osmosis (RO) water systems which can be “hungry” and corrosive to brass.
