Description
Keep your beer and wine clear of sediment with the Racking Cane Filter. This fine-mesh stainless steel filter snaps onto the end of standard 3/8″ or 1/2″ racking canes and auto-siphons. It acts as a primary screen, blocking hop particles, fruit bits, and heavy yeast trub from entering your keg or bottling bucket. It is an essential tool for brewers who dry-hop or use whole fruit in secondary fermentation.
Brewery Pro-Tip: If the filter becomes clogged during a transfer, do not pull the cane out. Instead, gently blow back through the tubing (or use a small burst of CO2) to clear the mesh. For the best results, cold-crash your fermenter for 48 hours before racking to settle the sediment below the level of the filter intake.
