The T&S Brass FD05 Flow Control Disc is the pinnacle of water conservation hardware. Featuring a Lime Insert, this disc provides a precise 0.5 GPM flow rate, the lowest available in the T&S lineup. This ultra-low flow is specifically intended for public hand-washing stations where water-saving compliance is the primary objective. The internal pressure-compensating mechanism ensures a functional multi-stream spray pattern even at this restricted volume, preventing splashing while maximizing every drop of water used.
Maintenance Tip: Due to the tiny orifices required for a 0.5 GPM flow, these lime discs are highly susceptible to clogging from pipe scale. We strongly recommend installing an inline sediment filter for any plumbing run using 0.5 GPM outlets. If the flow becomes inadequate, the disc should be replaced or deep-cleaned in a sonic bath to restore the spray pattern.
