Description
The T&S Brass HG-4E-24G-SEL provides a high-safety gas connection featuring an integrated Quick-Disconnect Valve (QDV) in a compact 24″ length. This industrial hose is built with a 1″ NPT diameter, making it suitable for high-BTU ranges that sit near the supply. The kit utilizes SwiveLink technology to allow 360-degree rotation at the ends, preventing kinking in narrow gaps. Constructed for safety and durability, it includes street elbows for easy routing and a restraining cable to ensure the hose is never over-extended during maintenance.
Technician’s Note: The QDV valve is a major safety feature, acting as both the quick-disconnect and a manual shut-off. Because of the short length, ensure the gas supply is located directly behind the appliance. Use the street elbows to create a “U” loop that prevents the hose from pinching against the wall when the appliance is pushed back.
