Description

The spin off disk helps divert any water that may leak past the bowl seal from entering the motor, and causing expensive damage. Used on both the VCM 44A and VCM 40 models. It is mounted to the motor shaft below the bowl seal, and should be inspected closely when servicing the bowl seal. If it becomes corroded and pitted the shaft sleeve will not remain square to the seal and lead to premature seal wear, and possibly expensive damage to the motor.
