The SPED72HC-24M-6 Elite Series™ Mega Top Refrigerated Counter from Beverage Air is a large model with six refrigerated drawers for quick under counter access and two-dozen ⅙-size pans in two separate cold bunkers. The drawer sections below the worktop offer 20.0 cu. ft. of storage space and are designed to hold pans up to 6″ deep for storing larger amounts of prepped food.
The worktop consists of a cutting board that runs the full width of the unit providing plenty of space to do prep work. The cutting board is easily removed for cleaning. The refrigerated pan storage area does not run the full width of the work area providing space for sauces and ingredients that don’t need refrigeration. The pans included with this refrigerated counter are made from durable, easy-to-clean white polyethylene plastic. The refrigerated pan storage doesn’t go the full width of the worktop providing space for additional items such as sauces or ingredients that don’t require refrigeration.
The drawers feature slides with a locking mechanism to prevent them from being pulled out of the cabinet accidentally. Stainless steel frames are used to support the telescoping drawer slides for effortless access to ingredients. The temperature inside the drawers is constantly maintained between 36º and 38ºF to maximize the shelf life of stored food.
The self-contained refrigeration system at the bottom of this prep counter has an efficient ⅓ HP compressor with 1549 BTU/hr of cooling capacity. Cooling is efficiently provided with eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant that meets all environmental regulations. Automatic defrosting is provided with a non-electric system.
This unit ships from the factory with an 8′ power cable that terminates in a 5-15P plug to connect it to a standard 115v/60/1-ph power outlet.
