Description
This Groen TDHC-20C is an easy to use, durable Countertop Gas Kettle. Made for use in restaurants, cafeterias, soup kitchens, camps, hospitals, and other industrial kitchens, it has a 304 stainless steel, one-piece welded construction. All of the exposed surfaces are also stainless steel. The controls are contained in a water resistant enclosure to protect electrical components. It has a heavy reinforced rim with a welded-in butterfly-shaped pouring lip. This increases pouring control, sanitation, and durability.
This TDHC-20C has been finished to have a professional, attractive appearance. Being made for industrial kitchen use, its exterior has a bright high buff finish to ensure easy cleanability and to maintain its appearance. The interior has been polished to a 180 emery grit finish.
Designed with an electrically-heated self-contained steam system, this Countertop Kettle provides steam at temperatures between 150°F and approximately 295°F. It is controlled by its power ON-OFF switch and temperature control knob. The knob can be adjusted in 1 to 10 increments. The controls have various indicator lights to guarantee operators remain aware of the Kettle’s operation. Safety features include a safety tilt cut-off, pressure relief valve, high limit pressure switch, low water warning light and low water cut-off. It also automatically shuts off the gas supply when the unit is tilted.
